How AnSara started

I didn’t build AnSara to disrupt an industry or chase a trend. I built it because I saw a problem every single day and couldn’t stop thinking about the solution.

While working in sales, I was making hundreds of calls a week. And one thing I kept noticing — whenever I reached back out to a business that had missed my call, they had no idea the opportunity had slipped through. No record of it. No follow-up. Just gone. That missed call wasn’t just an inconvenience. It was missed revenue. And it was happening to small business owners constantly, quietly, every single day.

That’s where AnSara came from. Not a boardroom. Not a pitch competition. A real observation from real work.

I’m Julian Calixte — NJIT Computer Science graduate, entrepreneur in progress, and someone who genuinely believes that when you lead with value, everything else follows. But I’d be lying if I said the road here was smooth.

For two months straight, the answer was no. No from salons. No from offices. No from people who didn’t even give me sixty seconds to explain what I’d built. I’d walk in confident, show a live demo on my phone, explain exactly how it worked — and still leave empty handed. Some days it felt less like building a business and more like talking to a wall. I started questioning whether the idea was actually good or whether I was just the only one who believed in it.

But I kept going. Not because I had some guarantee it would work — I didn’t. I kept going because I knew what I saw was real. Missed calls are missed money. And no amount of rejection was going to make that less true.

Then iOrtho said yes.

They became my first client, and my biggest. That one yes didn’t just change my pipeline — it changed everything. It proved the concept. It proved the product. And honestly, it proved to me that the two months of no’s weren’t failure. They were just the price of getting to the right room.
